Lynne Davis Whipple

Lynne Davis Whipple passed peacefully on March 9, 2024, surrounded by her family.  She was born in May of 1946 in Prescott, AZ to Hyrum Ervin and Janet Shumway Davis.  
She grew up in Prescott surrounded by her brothers, sisters, and lots of cousins.  She married Jay Whipple in January of 1967 in the Mesa Arizona Temple.  She will be remembered for her quiet acts of service in the church and in the community and for her love of family and friends.  
Lynne is survived by her children: JayeLyn (Craig) Galbasini, Howard (Joran), Will (Jody), Kate (Richard) Tuey and Hank (Cindy); her grandchildren, Carly (Taylor) Puffer, Lane (Jennifer), Chad (Morgan), Jessica (Cy) Despain, Nick, Heather (Seth) Despain, Jordan, Allyn, Erika, Leah, Ashlyn, Tyler, Ella, Reed, Sydney, Allison, and Brinley, and her great grandchildren: Lyla, Indy, Evelynn, Rockwell, Taylee, Eliza, Rue and Raylan, and her brother, Burt Davis.  
Lynne is preceded in death by her husband, Jay, her parents, her siblings, Wilford, Katherine and Susan, and her grandchildren Hannah and Cade.  
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Silver Creek Stake Center on Thursday, March 14th from 6-8 pm and a Graveside Service will be held at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor on Friday, March 15th at 11 am.
