Helen Adams Capps

Helen Adams Capps, age 93, of Taylor, AZ, went to be with her sweetheart on March 17, 2024. She lived a long, beautiful life. She was born on June 29, 1930, in Show Low, AZ, to parents Fred and Emma Adams.  Helen was raised with a bunch of brothers and sisters. She loved playing and spending time around the Show Low Creek.  She loved riding horses, greeting people at church, and never met a stranger.  The 1st time she saw her husband was in 8th grade. And said that someday she would marry "that man".  They were married and enjoyed 52 years together, here on earth, and what a reunion it has been for her to see him again in heaven after 23 years. She was always there for her kids.  She loved her kids and didn't judge them; she was considered a best friend.  Her children here will miss her, having spent so much time with her.  Having buried three of her children, she will continue to share her motherly love on the other side.

Helen is survived by her children Barbara Hunt, Patsy Matthews, Gary Capps; by 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Loyd Capps, by children Merlin, Billy, and Dennis.

There will be a visitation with the family, Friday, March 22, 2024, from 6:00-8:00PM at the Silver Creek Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with Funeral Services on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Silver Creek Stake Center beginning with the Viewing starting at 9:00AM and the Funeral to begin at 10:00AM.  Interment will follow at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery, Taylor, AZ
