Evelyn Louise Kretchmer, beloved Wife, Mother, and Grams. She was born July 24, 1928, to Ruth and Emmett Schonert in Olney, Illinois. She has lived in Lakeside, Arizona since 1992. She was very active in the Show Low Emblem Club. She enjoyed reading, crochet, playing poker and traveling. She was proceeded in death by her beloved Husband, Bruce Kretchmer, Son, Jerry Mowrer and her Son-in-Law, Ray Russell. She is survived by her Daughter-in-Law, Julie Mowrer Jannazzo, Daughter, Marcia Russell, Son, Douglas (Jean) Kretchmer, Son, Jeffrey (Carol) Kretchmer, Daughter, Nancy (Eric) Johnson, Daughter, Roberta (Larry) Kretchmer-Brown. Evelyn was known to Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren as grams. She loved many and will be greatly loved and missed by all. Mom, Grams, and friend we love you much! She passed away on March 17, 2024. Her Celebration of Life will be at Show Low Elks Lodge on April 20, 2024, at 11:00am with luncheon following.
