Charles Blair Obituary

Charles Allen Blair passed away on March 22, 2024, in Alpine, Arizona. He was born in North Roby, Texas, to Cecil and Thelma Blair on December 29, 1936.

At age 86, Charles leaves behind a wife of 63 years, Mary Blair of Alpine, a daughter, Renee’ Hucks of Lubbock, Texas, and a son, Cecil Allen Blair and his wife, Monica, of Colorado City, Texas; five grandchildren, Juan Francisco Suarez, Clayton Charles Ressler, James Monroe Blair, Samuel Jeremiah Blair, and Krysten Shanee’ Hucks, and a sister, Ava Jo Lynn.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenna Denise Blair, his parents, Cecil Allen and Thelma Blair, two sisters, Zelma Rea Hall and Rita Joyce Mize.

Charles served in the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1960.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 6, 2024, 11 a.m. at the Nutrioso Bible Church in Nutrioso, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the New Hope Pregnancy Center (928)599-1986. He will be missed by those who knew him.
